TraumaInformedPracticesECCFV_Jennifer S_Dec2023 This presentation was originally put together by the Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime for agencies that work with families that may have experienced trauma. A group of early childhood professionals took the original training and recreated it to be more more relevant for early childhood. The training consists of eight modules covering the seven key principles of trauma-informed care, and this presentation is a snippet of each module:
  • Physical and Emotional Safety
  • Trustworthiness and Transparency
  • Peer Support
  • Collaboration and Mutuality
  • Empowerment, Voice and Choice
  • Equity
  • Leadership, Administrative Support and Policies
